REWE launches sausage promotion in Germany

To promote longer store openings in many of its outlets, Rewe supermarkets in Germany have launched a bonus scheme for customers who make use of the W. Brandenburg butcher service counters. With ten purchases after 7pm documented in the 'Wurst-Pass' ('sausage passport'), they will receive a sausage ring/ring bologna for free. At the same time, Rewe supermarkets have started to sell fairtrade roses under the Fairfleur logo, following the example of Kaiser's and Tengelmann supermarkets.
