WHOLE FOODS confirms UK expansion plans
Whole Foods expects to open more stores in the UK “once developers realize how it helps to have a Whole Foods Market,” according to vice president of purchasing and distribution David Doctorow. He noted that Whole Foods is already looking at other potential sites in the country and that additional leases are expected to be signed in the “near future”. Doctorow added that expansion into continental Europe “is definitely part of [Whole Foods'] future plans” although growth will be not be rushed.
