SYSTÈME U 2006 turnover rises

French co-operative Système U has reported that turnover for 2006 (including petrol) rose to EUR15.6 billion (USD19.5 billion), a rise of 3.3% compared to 2005. The retailer opened a total of nine stores in 2006 and a new warehouse was opened in Ifs in Calvados bringing the total number of warehouses up to 26.
