SAINSBURY execs quit
As reported in Retail Week, in the UK, Sainsbury has lost two high profile executives from its pharmacy and convenience division. Sainsbury's convenience director of operations Jonathan Lawson will leave at the end of next month, and Martyn Hardy, Sainsbury's superintendent of pharmacy, has left the business already. Sainsbury's has declined to comment on whether a replacement for Mr Lawson has been found. Mr Hardy has been replaced by Chris Perrington, who has been promoted internally.
