LIDL launches in Slovenia
Yesterday, German discounter Lidl opened for business in Slovenia opening 15 stores nationwide. According to Gregor Kosi, the sales director at Lidl’s Slovenian subsidiary, the plan is to open another ten stores shortly. Like in all other markets, Lidl will feature its hard discount formula with a limited assortment, chiefly of privately labelled products, trading from a sales area of around 1,200 square metres.
