WAL-MART eyeing Latvia

According to unconfirmed reports in the Baltic press, citing the president of the Latvia Traders Association, Henriks Danusevics, Wal-Mart will at some point enter the Latvian market but it will not happen in the short term. "During the next three years Wal-Mart is not planning any activities in the Latvian market, though it does show an interest and would like to launch its operations here," Mr Danusevics said, predicting that Wal- Mart could come to Latvia between 2012 and 2015.
