METRO Slovakia 2006 sales rise

According to unconfirmed reports in the local press, Metro Cash & Carry in Slovakia has posted a 7.4% rise in 2006 turnover to SKK17.9 billion (USD602.5 million). The retailer currently operates six stores in the country.
