ITM renames e-commerce operation

ITM has announced that the retailer will be renaming its e-commerce site, 'expressmarché' at some point over the course of 2007. This year will be one in which the retailer expects to considerably expand its online grocery retailing operation. The number of stores that will use an in-store picking service in the style of Tesco's online service will increase to 300 with a view to total nationwide coverage in the future. The site will also use Ecomarché outlets in order to pick orders so that the retailer can cover regions that currently are not served online. ITM states that the site will be the "cheapest grocery online grocery site in France".
