CARREFOUR denies more senior execs to leave
Carrefour has denied recent press reports stating that more of its senior managers may leave the company after chairman Luc Vandevelde was forced to resign last week. In a statement Carrefour said that it formally denies the rumour that chief executive Jose-Luis Duran and chief financial officer Eric Reiss’ jobs are under threat. The company noted that one week ago its supervisory board had expressed its confidence in Duran and Carrefour's executive board "to continue the strategy begun two years ago."
