WAL-MART India gains Yum! Brands man

According to unconfirmed reports in the Indian press, the chief marketing officer of Yum! India, Arvind Mediratta, is leaving the foodservice company to join Wal-Mart’s local operation as senior VP, cash & carry. It is reported that Mr Mediratta will be reporting to Raj Jain who has been designated as president & CEO of Wal-Mart India and will officially join the retailer in April.
