Controversy at CASINO Leader Price enters new phase
The controversy at Leader Price has entered a new phase following the replacement of Baud family representatives by Casino employees. The Baud family and Casino have been in disagreement over the performance of the Leader Price discount chain. The Baud family are now reportedly claiming that Casino has not respected the family's participation in the chain and that they are looking to exclude them from any involvement in it. According to close sources, if Leader Price does not reinstate the Baud family's positions, then they will look to buy back their stake in the business. Casino has three months to consider this. The Baud family are also looking to sell their stake in Leader Price and Franprix for EUR450 million (USD593.8 million).
