METRO expands cash & carry division in Ukraine

Metro has opened a new cash & carry outlet in Zaporozhe. The outlet has a total sales area of 14,000 square metres and a net sales area of 9,000 square metres. It has also started construction of another Metro cash & carry unit in the city of Nikolaev. The store, with a total size of 12,000 square metres (net sales area 7,500 square metres), is being constructed according to a new concept. It will offer about 28,000 product lines and will target mainly professional customers.
