ALDI to enter Slovakia via Hofer

According to a report in the Slovakian paper Pravda, Aldi Süd is planning to enter the Slovakian market via its Austrian subsidiary Hofer. It is reported that the first stores are to be located in shopping centres planned by Alfa Development, in Bratislava, Nitra, Trnava, Ruzomberok, Komarno, Lucenec and Zvolen.
